Define client’s need and search context, job description, draw up search plan.

  • Identification & Assessment

Activate search process; direct search, database search, internet and other search, codification of internal candidates, telephonic interviews, consultant interviews, progress reports.

  • Shortlist

Detailed assessment reports, client’s interviews, informal references, psychological/psychometric tests.

  • Executive Selection

Contract Negotiation, formal reference

  • Follow Up

Ensure candidates start work, and follow-up consultation with candidate and client 3 months later.

Chinedu Duru

Managing Consultant

Chinedu brings with more than 25 years’ experience in telecommunications, the food industry, human resources and management consulting to Hamilton Lloyd.

Until recently, he was Country Manager of Pedersen and Partners. Pedersen & Partners was founded in 2001and is an international executive search firm operating 52 wholly owned offices all over the world. Pedersen and Partners are a single profit Centre partnership, which combines its country organization with international practice groups.

He was also the Managing Consultant of Stanton Chase Nigeria between 2009 and 2010. Stanton Chase is a partner-owned global Executive Search firm with presence in 69 cities in 42 countries.

In 2007, Chinedu worked with Kimberly Ryan Ltd, a leading HR Consulting firm in Africa with presence in Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana and he headed the Abuja and Northern Nigeria operations of the organization. In that capacity, he lead in the provision of solutions to clients in recruitment and selection, training and development, strategy and systems, outsourcing, etc.  Prior to Kimberly Ryan, he also helped set-up Theory Z Consulting, a broad spectrum consulting firm where he was Consultant in the area of Food Franchising and in the Oil & Gas sector.

Over the last 6 years, Chinedu has driven the executive search function in various firms and has participated in numerous searches in that period. He also brings competencies in Business Development and Training, in addition to a unique insight into corporate Nigeria.

Chinedu holds a B.Sc in Political Science from the University of Nigeria, an MBA in Management and has an M.Sc in HRM/D in progress. He has attended numerous trainings both locally and internationally. He brings strong people skills and useful cross-disciplinary experience to any project he has handled.

In addition he is a member of the board of directors of Protea Petroleum Afrique (PPA) – a South African Oil Prospecting Company. As a consultant, he brings his rich and varied professional competencies to bear in addition to many years of experience recruiting, interviewing and training staff for various organizations.

Uloma Umeano

An inspiring Thought Leader, Uloma Umeano is a multi-talented, entrepreneurial and results-oriented marketing management professional with accomplishments in planning and leading comprehensive corporate strategies in support of business goals and objectives. She has demonstrated ability in directing strong teams in the provision of creative marketing solutions, enhanced operational services and managing customer relationships.

With an uncanny insight into customer behavior and service delivery Uloma has forged rapidly ahead of her peers to become a doyen in the fields of Communications and Organizational Design. She is a practicing Marketing Communications professional with excellent ability to understand technology trends and customer demands in the Nigerian and regional market.

From Advertising (Rosabel) to Banking (Citizens), then from Direct Marketing (Tequila) to Social Marketing (British Council) and then global standard technology marketing in Microsoft Corporation, Uloma will tell you, “I’ve been around.” and her energy and passion for what she does is one thing that all her co-workers remember her for. She has a natural instinct to teaming and interpersonal relationship building. She leads like a follower and is selfless enough to share the limelight at any opportunity.

A reputable IQ testing body describes Uloma’s intellectual type as Insightful Linguist. This means that she is highly intelligent and has the natural fluency of a writer and the visual and spatial strengths of an artist. It writes further that those skills contribute to her creative and expressive mind.

Uloma is also the Founding Chairman of Customer Service Practitioners Association – CUSPA. CUSPA is an endorsement agency- a regulatory body that focuses on the establishment and management of quality standards in the practice and administering of Customer Service in Nigeria. It is a predominantly private sector monitoring association set up to extend consumer protection to service-based situations.

Chibunna is a founding member of Lean Sigma Concepts Ltd after 15 years of devoted career in the Management Consulting and Training Industry. He has constantly and proactively participated in Business Case Development; Project Management; Strategy Formulation, System Integration; Business Process Design, Re-Engineering and Management; Integrated Lean Enterprise Management; Six Sigma Business Improvement Methodology; Organizational Culture and Development; Customer Service Consulting and Training. Participated in Enterprise level deployment in several corporate institutions, led at least 5 projects at BB level and has facilitated several Management Training Courses both locally and internationally.

His Specialties include; A demonstrated mastery of Six Sigma tools and Lean concepts; an Advanced data analytics beyond basic Six Sigma tools; a development of metrics and dashboard concepts; Benchmarking, Survey and other VOC vehicles; Environmental assessments and other unique applications; Advanced Minitab skills, Sigma XL and other statistical software knowledge; Ability to train Lean Six Sigma skills including champion, yellow belt and green belt and Black Belts
