Job Summary
- The Finance & Accounts Manager assists the Head of Finance and Accounts Department in creating timely and accurate financial information.
- Reporting to the Head of Finance and Accounts Department, his/her primary responsibility include book keeping and preparation of monthly financial statements, using QuickBooks Accounting Software, and maintaining files for supporting documents and communications regarding accounting activities.
Main Responsibilities
- Recording day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting process using QuickBooks Desktop Accounting software.
- Maintaining schedules for statement of financial position, keeping general ledger accounts, preparing bank reconciliation statements and reconciling related parties balances.
- Ensuring deductions and prompt remittance of various statutory deductions. Verifying and ensuring timely payment of vendor invoices and ensuring payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
- Assisting with preparation of supporting schedules and documents needed for external audits.
- Create, send, and follow up on invoices.
- Collect information for and prepare payroll payments for employees
Skills and Qualifications:
- B.SC or HND in Accounting/Finance or related discipline
- Professional membership of ICAN or ACCA is a must
- 7+ years of accounting work experience
- Computer skills, which includes proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat as well as experience with accounting software (preferably QuickBooks) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as attention to detail.
- Team player with a solid communication skill, both written and verbal.
- Masters Degree or MBA in Finance is an added advantage.

Pay: ₦800,000.00 – ₦1,000,000.00 per month
