CHINEDU DURU – Managing Consultant
Chinedu brings with more than 25 years’ experience in telecommunications, the food industry, human resources and management consulting to Hamilton Lloyd.
Until recently, he was Country Manager of Pedersen and Partners. Pedersen & Partners was founded in 2001 and is an international executive search firm operating 52 wholly owned offices all over the world. Pedersen and Partners are a single profit Centre partnership, which combines its country organization with international practice groups.
He was also the Managing Consultant of Stanton Chase Nigeria between 2009 and 2010. Stanton Chase is a partner-owned global Executive Search firm with presence in 69 cities in 42 countries.
In 2007, Chinedu worked with Kimberly Ryan Ltd, a leading HR Consulting firm in Africa with presence in Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana and he headed the Abuja and Northern Nigeria operations of the organization. In that capacity, he lead in the provision of solutions to clients in recruitment and selection, training and development, strategy and systems, outsourcing, etc. Prior to Kimberly Ryan, he also helped set-up Theory Z Consulting, a broad spectrum consulting firm where he was Consultant in the area of Food Franchising and in the Oil & Gas sector.
Over the last 6 years, Chinedu has driven the executive search function in various firms and has participated in numerous searches in that period. He also brings competencies in Business Development and Training, in addition to a unique insight into corporate Nigeria.
Chinedu holds a B.Sc in Political Science from the University of Nigeria, an MBA in Management and has an M.Sc in HRM/D in progress. He has attended numerous trainings both locally and internationally. He brings strong people skills and useful cross-disciplinary experience to any project he has handled.
In addition he is a member of the board of directors of Protea Petroleum Afrique (PPA) – a South African Oil Prospecting Company. As a consultant, he brings his rich and varied professional competencies to bear in addition to many years of experience recruiting, interviewing and training staff for various organizations.
